Overview: To teenager Miyuki Hoshizora, fairy tales are a world of wondrous encounters and happy endings. When forced to protect Candy's and everyone else's happiness, Miyuki transforms into "Cure Happy," one of the Precure warriors! As Cure Happy, Miyuki is now tasked with finding the other legendary warriors and protecting the world from destruction, all while possibly discovering her very own happy ending.
While combing through the bookshelves, she is transported next to Candy, who claims to be searching for the so-called legendary warriors, Precure. After an eventful first day, Miyuki finds a mysterious library at school. However, when Candy disappears as quickly as she appeared, Miyuki is left believing the encounter was only a dream. While running late on her first day of school as a transfer student, Miyuki meets Candy-a mysterious fairy from the world of fairy tales, Märchenland. Inspired by her love for these stories, she lives every day searching for happiness. This anime is also a part of my childhood because it’s the first anime I ever watched, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.To teenager Miyuki Hoshizora, fairy tales are a world of wondrous encounters and happy endings. Glitter Lucky is my favorite but but I love the others just as much as her! The backgrounds are colorful, the animation is really good, the character designs are great, the transformation and attack sequences are amazing, etc. The girls are great role models for kids and encourages them to keep trying their best and never give up when things are hard and to always stay optimistic. WHERE’S THE FUCKING PROOF THAT GLITTER FORCE IS HOMOPHOBIC?! I’m asexual and there is literally 0 proof of Glitter Force and I know y’all only say that just because you don’t like the dub. Not only are people calling this racist, they’re also calling it HOMOPHOBIC. Glitter Force isn’t the only show with an English dub to change the show and characters names Tokyo Mew Mew did the same thing and the English dub of that dub is called Mew Mew Power if you didn’t already know that. The English dub of Tokyo Mew Mew removed Tokyo from the name and y’all aren’t complaining about that. I love Smile Pretty Cure too but I also love Glitter Force just as much and I’m going to defend it as much as I can. Sure, maybe removing Japanese culture and unfortunately lots of English dubs of anime does that but saying it’s “whitewashing” is just crossing the line. Also, if the dub “whitewashed” the characters then you’re pretty much calling every English dub of an anime whitewashed. They didn’t change the art style or anything, it’s just the names that got changed. OMFG why is everyone calling this show whitewashed, racist, homophobic, etc.? Sure maybe they got rid of A LOT of the Japanese stuff but not all of it and this dub with literally LOCALIZED for an American audience.
